Overview
About the Bandhavgarh Expedition
Bandhavgarh is a popular destination for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers, with the chance to see tigers in their natural habitat. This expedition keeps things simple: two nights near the park, two jeep safaris with experienced guides, and plenty of time to rest and enjoy the resort.
The jeep safari is the main activity. You are driven through the park by experienced guides looking for tigers and other wildlife. Besides tigers, the park is home to leopards, sloth bears, deer, wild boar and over 250 species of birds.
You can also ask about visiting the historic Bandhavgarh Fort, which sits on a hilltop overlooking the park, and the villages on the park’s edge, where you can learn about local culture and life. The best time to visit is generally from October to April, when the weather is dry and the animals are more active.
